The Pointek CLS200 is an inverting phase frequency shift capacitive level switch with pole/cable options and optional output configurations. It is suitable for detecting liquids, solids, slurries, foams and interfaces. The digital version (with PROFIBUS PA) contains a monitor, and advanced diagnostic features.

The Pointek CLS200 is available in standard and numeric fonts. The standard model has 3 LED indicators with basic relay and solid state switch alarms.

The power supply is electrically isolated and applies to a wide range of voltages (12 to 250 V AC/DC). When used in conjunction with the thermal isolator, as the probe is made of stainless steel and PPS (PVDF optional), the rated temperature of the probe's liquid connection can reach up to 125 °C during operation. The switch can respond to any medium with a dielectric constant greater than or equal to 1.5 by detecting variations in the oscillation frequency, and it can be set to detect before or during contact with the probe. The CLS200 works independently of tank walls or pipes and does not require external reference electrodes for level detection in non-conductive containers such as concrete or plastic
